General Enquiries
FTLG stands for Foreign-Trained Lawyers in Germany. We are a professional network that connects, supports, and empowers lawyers who earned their qualifications outside Germany and now live, study, or work in Germany.
Any lawyer trained outside Germany who wishes to integrate, collaborate, or advance their career in Germany is eligible. Membership is open to individuals at any stage of their legal career.

Members gain access to networking, premium membership get access mentorship, career resources, events like the FTL Lounge, and subsidized services including Legal German Bootcamp and Integration Consultation. Gold membership get access to all and a profile page for their services.

Basic membership is free. Some premium programs or events may require registration fees — details are provided on the program pages.

The Bootcamp teaches essential legal German language, terminology, and professional communication skills to help you navigate Germany’s legal system confidently. Subsidized for gold members.

The FTL Lounge is a networking and professional development event series. Members participate in interactive sessions, workshops, and mentorship circles to build skills and connections. Access is free for premium and gold members.
Events
You can register via the “Join Event” form on the FTL Lounge page. Confirm your spot, provide details, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
FTL Lounge events are primarily in-person but may include online sessions for workshops or webinars. Check each event listing for details.
Technical / Website for Gold Members
On the login page, click “Forgot Password?” and follow the instructions to reset your password via email.
Log in to your FTLG account, navigate to “My Profile,” and update your details. Changes are saved automatically.
