As a member of the FTLG Community (the ‘Community’), we process your personal data to manage and support Community activities, including sending newsletters and providing information about upcoming events such as webinars, feedback sessions, in-person meet-ups, roundtables, workshops, and more. We also collect and process your data when you register to become a Community member, sign up as a Community contributor, or express interest in participating in Community events, mentoring programs, or other related activities, we collect:

and the city where you’re located.
• If you provide us with your work email address, then the company you are
employed with, including its domain, address, and country,
• When you apply to join the Community, we ask about your motivation for
joining the Community.
• During the application process, we may ask you to indicate your areas of
interest employment status, area of specialisation, and management
experience. This helps us organise relevant events and create content tailored
to the needs of our Community members.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
• To process and manage membership in our community of legal professionals.
• To communicate with you regarding relevant updates, events, and legal
industry insights.
• To enhance the functionality and security of our website.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

• To pursue legitimate business interests of our own related to operating our website and

Right to Information

into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the
completion of incomplete personal data, also by means of providing a
supplementary statement.
Right to Erasure
You have the right to the erasure of your personal data without undue delay, and we
are obliged to erase your personal data without undue delay subject to the following
conditions:
– The personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which
they were collected or otherwise processed.
– You have withdrawn consent on which the processing is based
according to point (a) of Article 6(1).
– You object to the processing pursuant to Article 21 Paragraph 1 GDPR
and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing.

obligation under Union or Member State law to which we are subject.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to restrict processing if one of the following conditions applies:

period, enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data,
– the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal
data and request the restriction of the use of your personal data
instead;
– We no longer need your personal data for the purposes of the

– You objected to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, pending
the verification of whether our legitimate grounds override your rights.
Right to object to processing
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data,
which is based on Article 6(1) e or f GDPR, for reasons related to your particular
situation, and we shall no longer process the personal data unless we can
demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your
interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend
legal claims.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive your personal data, which you have made available to
us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format and shall have the right to
transmit those data to another controller without hindrance, provided that
– the processing is based on consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) or Article
9(2)(a) of the GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the
GDPR and
– The processing is carried out by automated means.
In exercising this right to data portability, you shall have the right to have your
personal data transmitted directly to another controller, where such is technically
feasible.
The exercise of this right shall not affect Article 17 of the GDPR. This right shall not
apply to processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public
interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us.
